Weird if you think about it

Hundreds were feared dead Friday when an Egyptian ferry carrying some 1,400 passengers and crew sank in the Red Sea in what appeared to be one of the worst maritime disasters in decades.

By afternoon, rescuers were stated to have pulled 14 survivors and 35 bodies from the sea where Italian-built al-Salam Boccaccio 98 went down some 90 kilometres from its destination, the Egyptian port of Safaga.

Al-Arabiya news channel reported that several dozen bodies had been recovered from the sea - while there remained hopes that a growing search and rescue operation would recover more survivors.
