Now my idea to leave a $100 bill for a cup of coffee makes me look like a cheapskate

It's something waitresses and waiters probably dream about: A kind customer leaving a big tip. That's exactly what happened to one Roanoke waitress Tuesday.

Amanda Newkirk waitresses at Ruby Tuesday at Valley View. The 19-year-old who's expecting her first child in May found a stack of hundred dollar bills on the table, $1,000 in all left for a $26 tab.

"I kind of ran my thumb through it," Newkirk told News Seven in Roanoke, "and saw it all and I went to my manager and said 'This has to be wrong.'" After a quick check,
Newkirk found out this money is very real.
